Nieve Lomas, First Aid Instructor and Program Co-ordinator for Vantage First Aid & CPR Solutions (VFA) has been with VFA from the start. As a dedicated first aider, Nieve has over 8 years of experience instructing Canadian Red Cross accredited courses and offers a unique and lively teaching style that will keep participants engaged throughout the course, walking away with confidence in their new (or refreshed) skills.
Julianne has been instructing First Aid & CPR/AED and Babysitting Courses for VFA for three years and brings extensive knowledge from her Emergency Response Team experience and Pharmaceutical background.
Jessica has been instructing for VFA for four years, and teaching first aid for six years. She brings her broad-based health care knowledge to our team, as a Registered Nurse in long-term care, and an Oxford County Volunteer Firefighter for the past seven years.
John came to Vantage First Aid the spring of 2012, and brings to our team not only personal experience as an active Emergency Response Team member, but also holds Emergency Responder Certification. John's lively and informative presentations are appreciated by our clients one and all.
William has been teaching with VFA since the spring of 2012, and boasts instruction of several Red Cross accredited training courses, including Emergency Medical Responder and First Responder. As an active member of a nearby university response team, he brings ample first-hand experience and knowledge to his courses.
Will MAY 01ST, 2014 RECIPIENT OF THE RED CROSS RESCUER AWARD - SEE HOME & CAREER OPPORTUNITIES PAGES FOR PICTURES -- has been working with VFA's administrative team for 7 years, but joined us as a First Aid Instructor the spring of 2012. As a licensed Physical Therapist working in home care, Will is appreciated for his vast knowledge regarding injury, strains, breaks, slips and falls and brings his extensive health care knowledge to our team.
Gracie has also been instructing with VFA for the past four years, when her schedule permits, as a First Aid & CPR/AED and Babysitting course instructor. As a recent BSc graduate, and active Emergency Response Team member, Gracie is well-versed in our program and her effervescent personality is enjoyed by child and adult candidates alike.
Tiera, with Vantage from the spring of 2013, is a multi-talented gem with eight years experience life-guarding and instructing first aid. In her fourth year of Nutrition & Dietetics at Brescia, Tiera is also an active Emergency Response Team member, loves water sports, soccer and is learning to play the guitar.
Mike joined Vantage in the spring of 2013. Currently pursuing a combined Nursing/Health Sciences degree, Mike is an active Emergency Response Team member, enjoys reading, and going on adventures with his dog, Lou.
Meredith joined the Vantage team in the summer of 2013. Working toward her medical school application, Meredith volunteers her time on a local Emergency Response Team. Along with rave reveiws from her classes, Meredith boasts engaging presentations and group activities which are enjoyed by all.
Rachel joined the Vantage team the summer of 2013. An active response team member and registered nurse in a local Critical Care Unit, Rachel's engaging presentations and broad knowledge of First Aid, injuries and treatment are sure to have you gaining your certification with confidence in your skills.
Claire - no photo available - has been working with Vantage First Aid for several years as a private course facilitator. An improv wizard in her spare time, Claire will be sure to keep a smile on your face while ensuring every detail is covered for your certification.
Cristina - no photo available - joined the Vantage team in the fall of 2013. Currently a paramedic program student with a vast knowledge of first aid skill, Cristina instructs both First Aid & Babysitting courses for our team.
Leah has been working with Vantage since the spring of 2013. Leah's keen attention to detail and passion for instructing children has helped her to hone her Babysitting course instruction skills.
